I have the most beautiful and wonderful best friend in the entire world. We have been friends since we were in grade school, and I don’t know what I would do without her. She got married last summer, and it was the most beautiful wedding that I have ever seen. I had the privilege of being her maid of honor as well as helping her coordinate a lot of the wedding. I have worked with wedding coordinators in the past, so it was almost second nature to me. All went smoothly except for cooling down the barn where the reception was held. We had two air conditioners that we put in there hoping that it would work great. We tested it out two days before the wedding, and it cooled the place down wonderfully. Unfortunately, the day of the wedding was almost twenty degrees warmer than the day that we had tested out the air conditioners. I walked into the barn just an hour or so before the wedding was going to start, and I realized that the two air conditioners were not cutting it. It was probably still eighty degrees in the barn, and that was with no one there. I quickly called my dad and asked him to bring another air conditioner. He ended up bringing two more air conditioners, and all four of them were able to keep the barn at a relatively comfortable temperature. I am so glad that we were able to get those extra air conditioners because I do not think that even three of them could have kept it comfortable in that barn once all of the people showed up.
