A few months ago I started hanging out with a new friend in town.
I was really excited to find out that we had a lot of the same interests, including our passion for making art work.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted a partner in my creative endeavors. I’ve needed a hype man to help me distribute my final products after completion. I’ve never been able to find a viable partner, until now. I was so excited at the idea, that I immediately brought my art supplies over to his house. At the same time, I also lugged my heavy space heater over there. I figured, if we were going to be working in the garage every evening, it was going to get pretty chilly. I knew that additional heating power would be necessary on my behalf. There’s no way I could create beautiful art while I was shaking and shivering in the winter cold air. Today, I’m truly kicking myself in the butt for leaving that space heater at his house. When I arrived home this afternoon, I quickly noticed that the indoor air temperature was much lower than anticipated. When I left this morning, the thermostat read 72° and I felt perfectly comfortable. Now, it says 58° and nothing is making the indoor air temperature increase. The landlord isn’t answering my phone calls and I’m not about to pay as insulation specialists for emergency repair services over the weekend. Now, I’m just wondering how I can get my space heater back as quickly as possible. If I can’t pump some high-quality heat into the space, I might as well leave for the weekend.
