I easily wasn’t wise when it came to selecting my sentimental interests, and this got me heartbroken over and over again.
As a youth, I was most impressed by someone’s looks and their ability to seem cool. I do not feel that this is unusual, but it isn’t a smart strategy for long term relationships. This is how I wound up with a lot of useless and dramatic guys, but down the line, I realized that it was much more important to date someone with practical skills and knowledge. You want a long-term partner who can carry their weight. That’s why, I preferentially date skilled tradesmen such as Heating & A/C specialists. Not only do I find it harshly attractive to watch my boo fully service our forced air heater or AC unit, but I care about the satisfaction that he gets from excellent indoor air quality and lower energy bills. My pal and I are always on the same page when it comes to thermostat programming, because he wants to take good care of our entire heating and cooling plan. I also never have to worry about performing the routine repair and diagnostics that are commanded by the Heating & A/C dealership. I appreciate having a real partner when it comes to our indoor air quality and utility management… And it does not hurt that he can repair our heating and cooling equipment at the drop of a hat in case of emergency. If you want to keep dating frogs, go ahead. But let me tell you, in the long term there’s nothing sexier than a well-took care of Heating & A/C system.
