A New Furnace or AC Unit?

A New Furnace or AC Unit?

Occasionally life kind of just hits you in the face with hard decisions to make.

  • My husband and I were faced with a small however hard decision to make concerning our home.

My associate and I bought a charming household out in the country so that my associate and I could be closer to my parents who are older and need some extra assistance. Thankfully, my associate and I got the home for a easily superb price because it needed so much TLC. My associate and I worked difficult to get everything done before winter, and surprisingly, my associate and I had most of it done by the beginning of September. One of the things that my associate and I had left was to purchase a boiler and install it as was well as some kind of air conditioner unit. At the time, my associate and I didn’t have the currency for both, so my associate and I had to choice one to purchase then, and wait another year before purchasing the other. It was a hard decision for us because it was still easily warm outside in September, and it wasn’t going to get any cooler until the beginning of September, however at the same time, my associate and I needed a boiler for the winter season months. The previous winter, my parents said that it was so warm that they never once turned on their boiler, so this fact made the decision making process so much harder. My associate and I ended up going with the boiler since it most likely would get frigid enough to have to use it, and the last thing my associate and I wanted was to have the water pipes or something major freeze that winter. Looking back, I am thankful my associate and I made that decision because that winter season was one of the coldest winters on record for our area.
