I recently went on a contractor trip that was completely disastrous.
I was invited by a contractor to head up there direction for an interview on site.
I was honestly excited for the opportunity, however it was complicated to get 600 miles away for the event. The contractor wanted me to fly in, however I told them I was pretty uncomfortable with that. Still, they are insistent that I fly through the air rather than flying down the road, I do not know what difference it made to them. Instead of being able to ride in the comfort of my own car, controlling my own environments, I had to get on a stupid airplane for the whole thing. I prefer to be in the car as well as have my own Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C control most of all. I do not like to be at the mercy of strangers to decide what kind of indoor air I will be sitting in for the entire day. I’m a pretty big fan of keeping the environment fairly hot as well as with as little drafts as possible. That’s why I was completely miserable when I arrived at the airport as well as they had their A/C blasting on overdrive. It felt like a damn cooler in there. There was freezing air blowing from every single direction, to the point that my dress was blowing around in the breeze. I was so freezing as well as covered in goosebumps as I waited through security, I was praying that the plane would not be the same… Unluckyly, the plane was exactly was freezing as the airport. I had the worst flight of my life, as well as arrived at the interview half frozen to death. The office wasn’t any better, needless to say, the interview did not go wonderful as well as I did not get the task. Next time let me choose my own Heating, Ventilation, as well as A/C settings.
