Air purifier won’t fix decades of smoke

Recently I’ve been on the market for a new house. I’ve never bought my own home before, so I want to make sure that everything is perfect. Luckily, I know a thing or two about real estates because my aunt has been an agent for many years. She told me all of the areas to pay a lot of attention. For instance, always make sure that the roof is somewhat new, the water heater and HVAC system have been properly maintained, and the insulation is still structurally sound. With her pointers in mind, I’ve been venturing around the city looking for the home of my dreams. I found a few contenders, but in the end I always rule them out because of my aunt’s sage advice. Recently, I genuinely thought that I had found the perfect place. When I walked inside, I noticed that the roof looks great, the doors and windows were well-insulated, and the HVAC system was running quietly. I asked for more details on the heating and cooling system because it seemed like there was never a break in the HVAC operation while I was walking around the house. The fan was constantly running, and I thought it was strange that anyone would spend so much money to keep their central heating and cooling system powered on in an empty house. I asked the real estate agent why they had such strange thermostat settings and we began digging into the heating and cooling equipment. When we powered down the HVAC system for a few moments, a strange smell immediately emerged from the walls of the house. it turns out, the prior owners were pack-a-day smokers who often engaged in the house. They almost duped me into buying this stinking house. I hate to tell you, but even an advanced air media purification system can’t remove two decades of cigarette smoke.
