Look them up and take the list to your local dealer to see what they carry and what their pricing is

Government guidelines seem to affect just about everything. Now, some people don’t like the idea of “big brother” watching but there has to be some sort of regulatory process in order to hold companies and manufacturers in check. If not for these agencies anyone could put any claim on their product and you would have no recourse to get your money back if it didn’t live up to what they said. When you purchase any new appliance you need to check the efficiency rating and make sure that it abides by the guidelines set forth by current rules. You are no doubt familiar with the big yellow stickers that are on the front of these types of devices. Did you know that you can check the manufacturer’s website for this information too? Many times appliances such as HVAC systems have this information listed in the manual or on the website instead of on the side of the unit. Most dealers will provide you with the certification too when they give you your receipt and owners information too. When you invest in such a costly system that accounts for nearly twenty five percent of your annual energy use you want to make sure it has the highest efficiency rating you can get. It doesn’t take much research online to find the most affordable and efficient types and models of HVAC systems out there. Look them up and take the list to your local dealer to see what they carry and what their pricing is. Saving money over time on your energy bill is just as important as saving money on the initial purchase.
