Sometimes it’s very warm and sometimes it’s shockingly cold.
I’ve never been the sort of person who invests in nice things for myself. I usually give myself the bare minimum and then make do as best as possible. I rarely go out and spend an extra dime for my own Comfort or entertainment. However, there is one area that I’m willing to invest in this year after an extremely difficult winter last year. I am improving my heating, cooling, and air quality control system before the ice cold temperatures of winter blow into the region. This was a decision that I made last January when my heating system completely failed in the middle of a blizzard. I couldn’t get a heating and cooling technician out to the house and it was a dire situation. I decided to overhaul my entire heating, cooling, and air quality control system so that would never happen again. As long as I was getting a brand new furnace and air conditioner installed in my house, I decided I would also upgrade my traditional thermostat to 1 of those smart temperature control devices. And I decided that I would get the smart thermostat installed as soon as possible, when the fall air was still blowing into the area. This is because fall is an extremely dynamic time of year around here. Sometimes it’s very warm and sometimes it’s shockingly cold. The temperature differences often happen over the course of one day, and your heating and cooling system has no chance to keep up with the temperature fluctuations. Now, with a smart thermostat I can change my indoor air temperature settings to match the outdoor temperature settings from anywhere. Fall is more comfortable than ever, and winter should be even toastier.
