For the past numerous years my family has been complaining that I won’t meet them in exotic locations for any of their planned family getaways.
- I keep telling them that I am not interested in going to some fancy resort and eating with them for two weeks straight.
However, they cannot seem to get it through their head that I have better things to spend my cash on. Honestly, I have been working seriously hard to save cash for one particular project – overhauling my heating, cooling, and air quality control system. I have been wanting to replace my heating and cooling devices for as long as I can remember. I have never been truly thrilled with the aged oil boiler in my basement or the rickety a/c that is supposed to keep me comfortable all winter. However, I didn’t want to replace the heating and cooling system with the cheapest new device possible. Instead, I really wanted to save up my cash for premium indoor air temperature control devices. Namely, I have my sights set on radiant radiant floors for this winter. I have constantly had a traditional forced air boiler and I cannot say that I cherish that heating method. It creates a lot of uneven hot and freezing patches, temperature swings, and freezing drafts, and radiant radiant floors, on the other hand, give clean, even temperature control that you can accurately manage in each room of the house. The costs of installing radiant radiant floors are a little high. However, with the Energy savings and reduced need for heating, cooling, and air quality control service services, the investment pays off over time, however my radiant radiant floors are going to keep me comfortable all winter time – I don’t need to go to Mexico with the fam.
