I’m genuinely not the kind of person who prefers to complain.
I am seriously grateful for everything that I have and I absolutely don’t like to take anything for granted. I know what it is like to live without the basics in order to feel comfortable, secure, and safe. I have been in some genuinely dangerous situations and some subrespected living situations. That’s why I am genuinely gleeful to be able to live in my Aunt’s basement right now. I can do my university work and professional duties without having to pay rent. The only problem being… There is not much Heating, Cooling, and Air Quality Control in my space! Considering how I am living underground, it’s often pretty cold. The natural air temperature is genuinely low and it is rather damp. I would enjoy to be able to moderate the indoor air temperature with a high-powered heating, cooling, and ventilation system so that I could feel a bit more comfortable. However, these Central indoor air quality control devices do not extend through the HVAC duct to this space. I have been trying to collect mini portable heating devices in order to moderate the indoor air temperature. I have also bought a few basic dehumidification units to assist with the humidity. However, it feels like the basement is able to overpower any of the air temperature control devices. I’ll never tell my aunt about these failed heating purchases, though. I don’t want to complain about the indoor air temperature or air quality, because I am just blissful to be inside. Compared to the outdoor air, this feels attractively moderate and cozy.
