As of last monthwe are finally able to sleep through the night again.
For the past three years, during the winter, my pal and I have been forced to set an alarm for every four hours so that one of us could get up and tend the fire. If my pal and I failed to do so the home would drop to dangerously low uneven temperatures which was not only uncomfortable however posed a complication with freezing pipes. When my pal and I first bought the ancient home my pal and I thought that this was a novel idea and my pal and I were saving the planet by not burning fossil fuels. Well, that first winter season my pal and I decided that my pal and I easily weren’t that dedicated to the cause when my pal and I realized that the wood burning furnace in the basement required constant loading in order to keep us warm. My buddy and I were not in a position to purchase a conventional furnace at the time and it took three years to save up the money to do so. My buddy and I didn’t want to finance the purchase so my pal and I set aside money each month until my pal and I had enough to pay for it. My buddy and I met with the Heating and A/C dealer and went with the most eco friendly one my pal and I could afford and my pal and I were thrilled when the morning of replacement arrived. Modern technology even allowed ductwork to be installed with less invasive ways so the construction mess was far less than my pal and I anticipated. That first night, when my pal and I didn’t have to set an alarm, was like being on getaway. The home stays at a constant seventy two degrees and my pal and I wake up feeling refreshed now and it is great!
