What type of roof do I need?

What type of roof do I need?

My husband built a backyard shed totally on his own, then it was such a relief since storage was a big concern in our household.

We had one entryway that was converted into a storage area.

I ended up needing the space for laundry, however all my husband’s tools had nowhere to go then, he leveled the ground, made cement pillars, and erected a shed. He did the siding, flooring, and the roof. I was so proud of him. He just didn’t connect the roof fully to his shed walls… There was a little bit of finished work left. It was over a year before he decided that it needed to be done, by that point, my husband was done with all things roofing. So he ended up hiring a roofing supplier to take care of it themselves. It took the guys under an hour and cost hardly anything. They just did a few finishing touches to ensure the roof was sealed properly, my husband was relieved not to go back up there and tackle that project again. I was blissful that he was willing to hire something out. After doing all that work on his shed, he deserved a break. The roofers did a genuinely good job. We saved their number and figured that someday they would be back! Residential roofs don’t last forever after all. It will be within ten years that a whole current roof will be needed on our house. I will call those guys up and have them match the roof to the shed most likely.
